Frozen apricot purée - France
SICOLY®’s frozen and sweetened apricot purée is made from apricots picked at optimum ripeness in our producers' orchards in the Côteaux du Lyonnais. Depending on harvest yields, an additional supply from the Rhône-Alpes is also possible. Selected fresh apricots are processed into fruit purée here in our production facilities. The pulp obtained is then de-aerated in order to eliminate any risk of micro-oxidation and is heat treated by a special, ultra-rapid ohmic heating process, which contributes to preserving all the organoleptic qualities of the fresh fruit (flavour, colour, texture).
