SICOLY®’s frozen "Noir de Bourgogne" blackcurrant purée without added sugars is made from fruit picked at optimum ripeness in Burgundy, a renowned region for the culture of blackcurrants.
The "Noir de Bourgogne" variety has been used for generations in the Burgundy gastronomy for the distillation of liquors or in traditionals jams and pastries thanks to its strong aromatic power. SICOLY® has selected this variety to offer you a premium frozen blackcurrant purées for authentic and flavourful creations.

The carefully selected blackcurrants are processed into fruit purée here in our production facilities. The pulp obtained is then de-aerated in order to eliminate any risk of micro-oxidation and is heat treated by a special, ultra-rapid ohmic heating process, which contributes to preserving all the organoleptic qualities of the fresh fruit (flavour, colour, texture).
